Comments and markup

Highlight passages, add notes and review a document.

Choose Comment to work with highlights, notes and drawing annotations. Select actual page text for a text highlight; scanned pictures do not contain selectable words until text recognition has added them. Use the comments panel to revisit notes and adjust their properties.

The typing button controls Ethiopic input independently from the interface language. Place the cursor in a note before typing. Save and reopen the PDF to check that your comments remain. A highlight or opaque drawing is a markup annotation, not a substitute for applying redaction.
