Amharic interface and typing
Switch the interface language and type Ethiopic characters.
The editor starts in Amharic. The Interface language dropdown at the upper right switches the menus and panels between Amharic and English. The separate Typing button controls what you enter. This lets you use English menus while writing an Amharic comment, or Amharic menus while entering Latin text.
Click a text input before typing. In Amharic mode, h immediately shows ህ; following it with e changes the syllable to ሀ. Type selam and Space for ሰላም. The on-screen keyboard provides vowel rows and individual letters. Choose Latin / A–Z for unchanged Latin input. These controls do not translate the contents of an existing PDF.
